Annual General Meeting 2009Our AGM was held Thursday evening 26th November.A better turnout of members was recorded than of the previous last few years with some new faces and some old ones making the atmosphere a happy one with no surprises, grips or moans, also there were no changes to the constitution or rules other than the treasurer proposing changes to the new membership rule of half price fees if joining after July be replaced with the adopted practice of the SAA that new members pay the full price, but if joining after September the membership is carried through to the following year. this motion was carried unanimously. As for the club office bearers it was proposed by a member on the floor that they be voted back on, en-block as all were willing to stand again for a further term. the motion was carried unanimously. The chairman informed everyone that the next ordinary club meeting will be on Thursday 25th of February 2010 at the Spey Bay Hall 7-30pm for an evening of fun flying indoor planes, helicopters and al manner of flying machines. After closing the meeting members retired to Coffee, Tea and Biscuits with cheese. |
